KLB Tour - Celestial Seduction Review and Giveaway

I'm so excited to be a part of this Journey! It's my first KLB event and I'm hoping it won't be my last! I am, however, the last stop on this awesome tour. I hope you've enjoyed it so far! There will be an international giveaway at the end of this post of a copy of Celestial Seduction by Jessica E. Subject. All you have to do is be over 18, leave a comment with a valid e-mail address (following isn't a requirement but it's nice).

Here's a little bit about Celestial Seduction (a.k.a. the book blurb)
At the end of his obligated commitment to the Space Service, Frey Berger decides to stay on Earth to further experience human emotions rather than return to Ginnun where his intended has already mated with another. Looking for real love and someone to accept him for what he is, Frey enlists in Madame Evangeline’s popular dating service. Although he does not understand the concept of a one-night stand, he hopes to find his perfect mate.

Carrie Cooper’s husband divorced her for someone who could provide him with children, leaving her with little self-confidence and no desire to let a man hurt her again. Her best friend convinces her to join a dating service, claiming Carrie needs to get laid, while not winding up with a broken heart since her date requires no commitment after the night is over.

Although several misunderstandings nearly derail them before the date has even begun, Carrie and Frey end up becoming closer than they ever believed possible. Still, Frey will need to convince Carrie that her perfect mate isn’t human at all, and that one night can lead to a forever love.

Now, for my review:
This is a very short read. More of a short Novella really. There are only 4 real characters in the book, 2 main characters. What one can take from this story is learning to accept others for who they are on the inside and not judge them by what they may look like on the outside; just because one person hurt you does not mean that all people are going to hurt you (such as if your heart has been broken by a man, not all men are untrustworthy). There is one sex scene in the story that is not overly explicit but it is hawt enough to give you something to "chew on".

This is a sweet story but it felt like it is the writer's first dip in the author pool. She has a great imagination and I look forward to reading more of her work as the ending of this story left me wanting to know more of the story such as did Carrie hear Frey whisper to her? (In case you hadn't noticed that was a little tease…lol). What happens later? Does Carrie's best friend ever find her one true love? Does anybody else come looking for Frey? See what I mean? I'm not much for alien stories but Jessica made Frey just vulnerable enough to melt your heart and make him more human than alien.
