*Looking Around not seeing Kim Laughs I will just leave this really yummy recipe*


Turtle Cheesecake

Ingredients

24 OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 2 cups)
6 Tbsp.  butter or margarine, melted
1 pkg. (14 oz.) Caramels
1/2 cup  milk
1 cup chopped  Pecans
3 pkg.  (8 oz. each)  Cream Cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp.  vanilla
3 eggs
2 squares  Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Directions

HEAT oven to 325°F.
MIX crumbs and butter; press onto bottom and 2 inches up side of 9-inch springform pan.
MICROWAVE caramels and milk in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 3 min. or until caramels are completely melted, stirring after each minute. Stir in nuts; pour half into crust. Refrigerate 10 min. Refrigerate remaining caramel mixture for later use.
BEAT cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with mixer until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Pour over caramel layer in crust.
BAKE 1 hour 5 min. to 1 hour 10 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate 4 hours.
MICROWAVE reserved caramel mixture 1 min.; stir. Pour over cheesecake. Melt chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over cheesecake.

How to Pipe Chocolate
Place a square of  Semi-Sweet Chocolate in freezer-weight resealable plastic bag; seal bag. Microwave on HIGH 30 sec. Squeeze bag to melt chocolate. Fold down top tightly and cut small piece (about 1/8 inch) off one of the bottom corners of bag. Holding top of bag firmly, drizzle chocolate through opening in desired patterns on cheesecake.
Note
Reduce oven temperature to 300°F if using a dark nonstick spring form pan.

*Whistles Super Loud to Catch Your attention!* INTRODUCING..........

KIMBERLY: Hey everybody! *Whistles even louder to get your attention*!  My friend has something to say so listen up! *winks* We're the Bakin_Goddesses so we can "command your attention" *Laughs really hard*

SHAUNI:  *Facepalm* Sorry I just realized I haven't introduced myself to all the followers.

My name is Shauni and I have joined with Kim to be a Bakin_Goddess. I thought I would tell you a little about myself. I'm 32 married to a great guy (sometimes) I have 3 kids (I'm not going to say 3 wonderful kids cause everyone says that. I will be the first to admit my kids are spoiled brats) and I have tons of pets (13). I love to read and when not reading I bake.

KIMBERLY:  You have no CLUE how much fun this chick is! She's CRAZY! The bitch breaks out into song for no apparent reason! She keeps me laughing! We are all going to have so much fun with her here!  We love the same kinds of books, movies, TV shows, and HELLO!!!! We can't forget BAKING!  As a matter of fact, I think Shauni is going to share a recipe with us!

SHAUNI: *Breaking out singing* Gonna bake and read books woohoo *Thinking* yes I do believe I will share some recipes. 

KIMBERLY:  Rubbing hands together....Yummy, calorie-filled, dessert recipes?????? CHOCOLATE????

SHAUNI: *laughing * No Kim not chocolate Pumpkin it is the season for PUMPKIN *winks* I can share a chocolate recipe for the price of 1 million dollars *evil laugh*

KIMBERLY: *Frowns slightly* Can we add chocolate to the top????  (Can you tell I'm a total chocaholic?) *Sigh* Ok....If we HAVE to have pumpkin this time, next time I'm posting a chocolate recipe! So post on my sister Goddess and let's see what yummy creation you have!

SHAUNI: *smiles*  Well Just cause I love you Kim, I will post 2 recipes without the fee. *seeing Kim jump up and down I laugh*

Pumpkin Cookies with Cream cheese frosting

Ingredients
For the cookies:


    1 cup sugar
    2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
    2 tablespoons Maple syrup
    2 eggs
    1 cup canned pumpkin
    1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground all spice
    1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
    Pinch ground cloves
    2 1/2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    Pinch of salt

For the frosting:

    2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese
    1 cup confectioners sugar
    1/4 cup milk
    1 tablespoon vanilla extract
    Zest of one lemon

For Garnish:

    Whole pecans

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

In a mixer, fitted with a paddle, cream the sugar and the butter until light and fluffy. Add the maple syrup and eggs. Mix to incorporate. Add the pumpkin and mix to incorporate. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and cloves. Add the dry ingredients to the batter and mix well. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly golden brown around the edges. Cool on racks. When cool, ice with the cream cheese frosting.

For the Frosting: In a mixer, fitted with a paddle, add the cream cheese. Beat until light and fluffy. Beat in the powdered sugar until smooth. Add milk and vanilla. Beat until smooth. If frosting is too thick, thin with a little more milk. Fold in the lemon zest. When cookies are cool spread with some of the frosting. Garnish with a whole pecan.


Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

    1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
    1 cup margarine
    3/4 cup white sugar
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 cups milk chocolate chips

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets with non-stick cooking spray (I use butter flavored) and set aside.
    Combine cream cheese, margarine, and sugars. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients slowly and mix well. Add chocolate chips and mix.
    Bake 15-18 minutes or until edges are slightly browned. Enjoy!

KIMBERLY:  I think I just rolled over in a vat of Cream Cheese and DIED!!! What a wonderful way to go!!! Those both sound delish!  See what an awesome addition Shauni is going to be?? Two Bakin_Goddesses in one blog -- Man you all are lucky!!!
