INTERVIEW & GIVEAWAY WITH THE FANTASTIC SHILOH WALKER!

Thank you for joining The Bakin_Goddesses for such a HUGE PARTAY! We hope you have as much fun as we do.  We know the readers will enjoy getting to know a little bit about you with these little questions.  It’s all about fun this time so let your hair down, grab your favorite drink, put your feet up on the desk and have some fun with these. (Shauni) *Grabbing a drink looking at Kim* Oh you meant them Sorry *laughing*
Cats or Dogs? ( Hey what about Birds and lizards? )
Dogs
Salty or Sweet (This of course means when you’re “playing” because this isn’t an adult Goddess site for nothin’)? Chocolate?
LOL.  I have a thing about food and playing.  I won't touch either. Comes from being a nurse, but it's not particularly sanitary and I just don't see the sexy in it.

Fireman or Cowboy?
Neither… Eskimo.  Cuz I'm married to one and he's what I want.
Hairy or Smooth (Body hair)?
Smooth.
Clean Shaven or Stubble?
Either works, depending on the guy.
Diet or Regular soda (Or....if you’re like me, Kimberly, you’re stuck on Powerade Zero)?
Diet
Fruit or Veggies (Or Chocolate)?
Salsa…
Coffee or tea (Or Chocolate)?
Usually coffee, but lately tea
The song that is most annoying when it sticks in your head -- sorry had to do it.
Ummmm…honestly, off the top of my head I can't think of one!
Apple or Microsoft?
Microsoft
Drama or Comedy or anything with Gerard Butler -- What Shauni? He’s Hawt!  What Kim?*wiping drool* I love Gerard but what about Jason Momoa ooooohhh Or Charlie Hunnan?  OOH Shauni! Charlie!!! We Loves Us some Jax! SOA! All the way baby!  I guess we should let the guest answer the question though, huh? (tv, movies)?
I tend to like action movies more than drama or comedy.
Spring or Fall (Fall -- cuz I can beat him to the floor! *snickering*)?
Both
Sedan or Sports Car (Hey! I live in Texas! Where’s the truck suggestion???)?
I'd love a convertible
Tattoos or no Tattoos?
No preference

Favorite splurge food -- Tacos, Pizza, Cheeseburger (Or Chocolate peanut butter swirl FUDGE)????
French Fries
What dish do you make perfect?
Chili
What dish have you messed up completely by burning or over cooking it?
Grilled Cheese
Can you give us your favorite Christmas cookie recipe? If not the recipe, your favorite cookie, we’ll find the recipe.
I like making stained glass cookies…there's no real recipe… you just make sugar cookies, either with a mix or a recipe or even the Pillsbury premade.  Do them so you use cookie cutters and you use a smaller one on the inside so you take some of the dough out.  You fill the dough with crushed up hard candies.  Red, yellow, green, make them look very Christmas-y.
Something like this is the basic idea
http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/stained_glass_cookies/
But if you're not much for cooking, you can use premade cookie dough, too.
It's fun to do with my kids…
Now is the part where we let you do some shameless self promotion of your books, artwork or jewelry (this sentence will be centered directly towards you and your work when the interview comes up).  Please tell the readers something about what you’re currently writing or what has just been released.  We’re shameless when it comes to pimpin’ new stuff!
Hmmm…well, current release is IF YOU HEAR HER, the first book in my Ash Trilogy.  The next one, IF YOU SEE HER is due out in January.  I've also got another book due out in January…THE DEPARTED, one of my FBI Psychic books.

Can you please show the readers some of your most favorite work? Feel free to shamelessly promote your achievements here because we, as Goddesses, totally would!
I'm fond of my Grimm series…I bastardize fairy tales.

What is one of your most favorite pieces that you have done for yourself? If its something personal and you don’t want to show it, can you tell us about it?
Again, the Grimm series…it's just kind of unique.  I have a lot of fun with it.

WHERE TO FIND SHILOH WALKER

Have you seen the tweets that Shiloh either sends herself or retweets?  If not, a lot of them are to help other people, groups of people, or for special causes.  We thought that since she gives back so much, we would use a bracelet for the giveaway that we designed for breast cancer awareness.  Since Shauni is a breast cancer survivor, it seems fitting.  So, without anymore yammering from us....here is your giveaway....pink marble square beads with black beads in between.

Thank you for taking the time to share with us today, I have managed to burn a grilled cheese now and then myself LOL. I have been keeping my eye on The Departed and look forward to diving in. I think anything that brings awareness of the important issue of breast cancer is awesome and definitely has my support. Thank you so much for being aware and willing to share that awareness :)

I see Shiloh on Twitter and she brings so many different causes to light. But, since my girl Shauni is a survivor of breast cancer, I figured we would merge causes and we could give a bracelet that we made.

I'm a fan of Shiloh Walker and her books. Cancer is something that has started becoming a big issue in my life and while I'm glad breast cancer is being spotlighted, I hope that others will also look at the other different cancers.

I love fairytales, though I can't say I've ready any "twisted" ones lately, but I am looking forward to reading Departed in the near future!
