INTERVIEW & GIVEAWAY WITH THE STUPENDOUS STEPHANIE TYLER!

Thank you for joining The Bakin_Goddesses for such a HUGE PARTAY! We hope you have as much fun as we do.  We know the readers will enjoy getting to know a little bit about you with these little questions.  It’s all about fun this time so let your hair down, grab your favorite drink, put your feet up on the desk and have some fun with these. (Shauni) *Grabbing a drink looking at Kim* Oh you meant them Sorry *laughing*
Thanks for having me at the party!

Cats or Dogs? ( Hey what about Birds and lizards? ) Dogs! Weimeraners!

Salty or Sweet (This of course means when you’re “playing” because this isn’t an adult Goddess site for nothin’)? Chocolate

Vampires or Werewolves (Of course you can choose “other” but you have to elaborate *snickering*)?
Wolf, baby!
Fireman or Cowboy? Cowboy
Hairy or Smooth (Body hair)? Smooth
Clean Shaven or Stubble? Stubble
Diet or Regular soda (Or....if you’re like me, Kimberly, you’re stuck on Powerade Zero)? Diet Coke is my vice.
Fruit or Veggies (Or Chocolate)? Fruit dipped in chocolate
Coffee or tea (Or Chocolate)? Depends on the mood – I like all 3
Apple or Microsoft? Apple

Drama or Comedy or anything with Gerard Butler -- What Shauni? He’s Hawt!  What Kim?*wiping drool* I love Gerard but what about Jason Momoa ooooohhh Or Charlie Hunnan?  OOH Shauni! Charlie!!! We Loves Us some Jax! SOA! All the way baby!  I guess we should let the guest answer the question though, huh? (tv, movies)? Sons of Anarchy is my favorite show this season – love Jax – and Tig…

Spring or Fall (Fall -- cuz I can beat him to the floor! *snickering*)? Fall!
Sedan or Sports Car (Hey! I live in Texas! Where’s the truck suggestion???)? I’ve got to go with truck on this one…

Tattoos or no Tattoos? Love tattoos. Have many.

Favorite splurge food -- Tacos, Pizza, Cheeseburger (Or Chocolate peanut butter swirl FUDGE)???? Um, yes to all of the above…

What dish do you make perfect? That would require cooking, which I don’t do. Takeout makes EVERY dish perfect – so does my husband ;)

What dish have you messed up completely by burning or over cooking it? See above.

Can you give us your favorite Christmas cookie recipe? If not the recipe, your favorite cookie, we’ll find the recipe. My grandmother’s anisette cookies – those always remind me it’s Christmas.

Italian Anise Cookies With Icing and Sprinkles

Ingredients

    COOKIE

    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 3 large eggs
    • 2 teaspoons anise extract ( or almond extract)
    • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour ( may need up to 3 cups)
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 2 -3 tablespoons milk

    ICING

    • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
    • 3 tablespoons milk
    • 1/8 teaspoon anise extract
    • food coloring
    • decorative candy sprinkles

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. For cookies, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition. Add anise extract.
  3. Blend flour and baking powder. Start by adding about 1/3 of these dry ingredients to the butter/sugar in your mixer, then add 1 T. milk. Add another third of the flour and another 1 T. milk. Finally, mix in enough of the remaining flour until your dough is like a brownie batter (it should be softer than a drop cookie dough).
  4. Use a 1 T. cookie scooper to make simple round drop cookies - use wet fingers to pat any rough edges OR for an Easter-Egg look, roll 1 T. dough into an elongated ball.
  5. Bake cookies 10-12 minutes (they won't be brown but the insides will be soft and cake-like).

Now is the part where we let you do some shameless self promotion of your books, artwork or jewelry (this sentence will be centered directly towards you and your work when the interview comes up).  Please tell the readers something about what you’re currently writing or what has just been released.  We’re shameless when it comes to pimpin’ new stuff!

Right now, I’m in the middle of wolves! Dire Warning, an eSpecial novella, releases Feb 7th, followed by Dire Needs: A Novel of the Eternal Wolf Clan on March 6th – it’s the first in the series! I’m so excited for these books.  I also just got to participate in an awesome anthology called SEAL of My DREAMS – all the proceeds from this book go to Veterans Medical Research (and they make great Christmas gifts, just sayin’) Now, I’m between wolves (writing Dire Wants) and a new romantic suspense (Yummy SEALs!), so I’m busy, which is always a good thing.

Great giveaway. I would like Ms. Tyler's Blaze title Beyond his Control. I love it when girls love their brother's friend.

Absolutely LOVE Stephanie's books. I read all three Hard books. I'm kinda behind on her Shadowforces (only the two newest ones) and last month I won the entire ACRO series which I started to read. Finished the second book. So I'm crossing my fingers * crosses them)

Oooh oooh.. the wolves that I claimed, Steph? Pst promise to leave the underoos off them. LOL

What a great giveaway. I haven't read any of these books and I'm asking myself Why ? I'd love to read any of them but I guess I'd choose Lie With Me from the Shadow Forces books. Happy Holidays . These are also my favorite cookies next to Cucidati. It just wouldn't be the Holidays without either of them. :)
